The Ladder Project was created at The Millay Colony for the Arts, Austerlitz, NY, in 2002. With an Independent Project Grant from Artists Space in 2003, The Ladder Project was recreated in an urban environment as eight 65-foot ladders coming from the windows of an industrial building in Long Island City, NY. And in 2006, The Ladder Project was presented at the Arts Center at Kingdom Falls, a former school building, in Belfast, ME. The ladders are made of Foamulair and staples.
