Many of my friends are deeply committed to the work
they do and some have websites.
Recently, I have read The Song of the Lark
by Willa Cather,
Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov and Housekeeping by Marilynne Robinson.
One of my favorite books is Frankenstein by Mary Shelly and I am
now reading Fear and Trembling by Kierkegaard.
I saw the movie Louise Bourgeois: The Spider,
The Mistress and The Tangerine. There is a show of
her work at The Guggenheim.
I recommend the Guston drawing show at The Morgan
and there are seven paintings by Philip Guston at MoMA
that are wonderful to see.
